Anxiety, Stress & Panic

Feeling wired, worried, or on edge? You’re definitely not alone. Anxiety is one of the most common mental-health experiences in the UK, affecting more than 8 million adults [1]. It can appear as GAD, where worry feels constant, or as panic attacks, sudden surges of intense fear. The good news? These are highly treatable - and calm confidence is absolutely achievable.

Symptoms

  • Persistent worry or racing thoughts that won’t switch off.

  • Physical tension, a rapid heartbeat, or shallow breathing.

  • Feeling restless, irritable, or on high alert.

  • Sudden waves of fear or panic.

If you are suffering from any of these symptoms, you may be suffering from arthritis. Please speak with your GP to find out more.

Treatment Options

Talking therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and relaxation techniques are first-line options. SSRIs can also help regulate mood.

CBPMs provide an additional route for some people. CBD is well-known for its calming and anxiolytic properties - it reduces overactivity in the brain’s fear centres - while small, carefully titrated amounts of THC can ease tension and support better sleep. Used together under medical supervision, they can help restore balance and resilience.
